Our (y)oni balancing steam is made with Ayurvedic herbs intended to promote hormone balance, regulate periods, and rejuvenate the reproductive tissues. User guide included. Please note: To use your steam, you will need a yoni steam chair, such as the one included in our (y)oni care set.

How To Use

Fill the steamer base with 64oz of water and add 1 heaping tbsp of the steaming herbs. Turn the steamer to high heat, letting the herbs boil for a few minutes, then reduce heat so that a light but steady flow of steam rises from the water. More vigorous steam, indicating greater heat, could be damaging and even burn sensitive skin. Place your yoni steam chair over the steamer, and before sitting down, test the heat of the steam with the inside of your wrist. Once seated, wrap a sheet around your waist to keep steam in. Steam twice a week for 20-30 minutes, skipping the week of menstruation.

Yoni, the Sanskrit word for vagina and womb, translates as “sacred place,” honoring the divine femnine’s creative power. Yoni steams are an ancient ritual that have been traditionally used across many cultures to nurture the reproductive system, soothe pain and discomfort, and allow for deeper connection with self. In our (y)oni balancing steam, shatavari, dandelion, and astragalus help balance hormones, mugwort and sage are used to clear stagnation, and rose and nettle cool and soothe. We recommend steaming twice a week, 30 minutes per session.
